What is corporate culture?
Corporate culture actually refers to the values, the attitudes and the beliefs of what is within the organisation.

Types of corporate culture

Play Culture- It is about showing their creativity and finding innovative ideas for the projects but would not be able to work in an aggressive field.


Agressive culture-It is about taking lots of risks and doing as much ways to solve the issues. It is a given with immediate rewards once the project is finally completed.


Process culture-It is about following steps on creating the product and giving in feedbacks on the products. That will help improve Company.


What Culture did Steve jobs use in his company?
He is more on the Agressive culture and the Process culture as he tells the people what to do and forces them to give the designs a try, taking risks. He uses process for the steps in his company.

What is training?
Training is a way of increasing the skills of the employees' job and making themselves better and faster in their work. It also helps prepares for the risks and issues that are going to happen in the company. This helps reduce mistakes and improves the profits in the company.

How do you improve the skills of the employee?
you can improve the skills by giving them new work, and giving examples of problems. So that the employee will get used to the problem which would be easier for him/ her to solve.


How did Steve jobs improved his employees?
Steve Jobs improved his employees by training them with given examples of what might happen and taking in risks in creating a product to the company.

What is motivational theory?

Motivational theories are ways of motivating employees in the company in order for the employees to feel much better and it can help them to work faster for the company.

Types of motivational theories

Maslow's theory of hierarchy- Maslow's theory is about what is needed the most and catogarized into what is needed and what is not needed.

Mcgregor's theory X and Y

Theory X- A smooth calm way of motivating their employees but is needed to be controlled as most people can be lazy and might not work.

Theory Y- Very active employees and will always work very hard. They do not need such a smooth way of motivating them as they should be able to work hard enough to finish the job.


How does Steve jobs motivate his company?

Steve Jobs uses most of the theories in Apple. He used Mcgregor: He chose theory X as he believes that every employee is need to be given a clear instruction and under supervision. He also use Maslow theory on hierarchy. He makes sure that all the employees are safe and the areas are clean and hygienic. He not only use both of the theories but also taylor's theory and it is about division and what the employees are specialise on. They are all separated into different groups based on what they are to do. Steve jobs separated the software and hardware designers.

What is organisation Structure?
An Organisation Structure is a breakdown of different people that are assigned to what they are suppose to do with other lower employees working for them.

Types of Organisation charts
Centralisation- everything and the ideas goes to the leader in the middle and other employees taking orders.
Decentralisation- Works as an individual dependent in the company and given in the organisation structure.
How did he control his company?
Steve Jobs controlled his team by him being in the middle of the structure so that he can control each and everyone in the team. He uses centralisation where all the power goes to him. As for the other companies, such as Facebook. Their organisation structure is based on everyone working with each other.

Why did he use that structure?
He used this structure because if he has all the power, it would be much easier for him to give orders on the ideas he wants. It is only the ideas he gives, while it is the designer's choice to design the idea given.

What is recruitment?
Recruitment is about hiring new employees in the company. It is important to hire the right people for the right job in the company. Having the wrong person in the company might cost more and it can reduce the quality of the product. 

Why is there a need to recruit people?
It is important to recruit the right people because if the person is doing a good job in the company, it would help increase the profit and the investment in the company. Having the wrong person will give the opposite amount of the good employee.

What is the best way of having a good recruit?
The best way of having a good recruitment is by dismissing the employees that are not doing their job and always lazy. Hire new employees that are willing to actually do their job. Take away the employees whom are useless to the project.

How did Steve jobs recruit his team?

Steve jobs dismissed the employees who denies his ideas and those who do not look useful to him. He would normally just fire the people who are not working and is not part of projects.
